Hadi Al Ramzani saddled DJAHAB (Mahabb x Djesireh) followed up her winning debut a month ago with her second straight victory in the final race of the seven race card on Thursday. Tomas Lukasek, who had ridden the Al Jeryan Stud filly to victory in her debut maiden, was at the helm of the 3yo yet again,

and the duo produced a smashing victory. Djahab went past the post an astounding 14 lengths ahead of the competition, Hassan Al Matwi's RAQEE (Mared Al Sahra x Cath), with JP Guillambert astride. Further down, Ibrahim Al Malki trained QASWARAH (Majd Al Arab x Al Nasriyah), ridden by Saleem Golam, made it to third place.

Saleem Golam guided the 5yo to a close victory over Jassim Mohammed Ghazali schooled HILLSIDE DREAM (Dream Ahead x Knapton Hill), ridden by Tadgh O'Shea, while Bustawi Ismail's charge TEA LEAF (Bushranger x Boston Ivy) made it to the frame under Jean Baptiste Hamel's ride.


The longest race of the day saw Al Shahania Stud's RASI (Mared Al Sahra x Dixie Darlene) win for the third time this season. Jassim Mohammed Ghazali saddled horse was helmed by Tadgh O'Shea, who guided the 6yo to a a close short head victory ahead of Hamad Al Jehani's LUCKY SAND (Burning Sand x Vague De Gemme), who

finished second for the second straight time. The colours of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Thani made it to the frame once again with Alberto Sanna riding SHE'RIS (Mared Al Sahra x Kerbelle Du Loup) to third place finish.

Having finished a credible third on debut a month ago, Umm Qarn's JALMOUD (Atlantic Air x Al Basmah) won the mile long run to shed his maiden status on Thursday. Jean Baptiste Hamel kept the Alban de Mieulle trained colt on the heels of Ali Al Marri saddled Queen Maouya and Ibrahim Al Malki's MISTER LAL (Abide With Me x Adventuress).

On the home stretch, QUEEN MAOUYA (Abide With Me x Jumaana), ridden by Almotasem Al Balushi, was overwhelmed the other two, and eventually Jalmoud surged forward enough for a three quarters of a length victory ahead of Saleem Golam's mount, Mister Lal.


Osama Al Dhafa's BLACK TREACLE (Kodiac x Treacle Noir) registered his first victory in more than a year, winning the mile long run in a close finish. Marco Monteriso kept the gelding on the rails from the word go, and ran alongside stablemate Tautira, ridden by Stephan Ladjadj, coming on to the home stretch. By then Injaaz Stud's HATCHET HARRY (Footstepsinthesand x Deryshicca) sped up under JP Guillambert and soon was alongside Black Treacle. The latter managed to edge forward enough for a victory, while Deborah Mountain's ANGEL OF THE NIGHT (Footstepsinthesand x Princess Sabaah) completed the top three.


A month after finishing at the back of the pack on dirt, Zuhair Mohsen's FOUNDER (Zamindar x Never Fade) shed his maiden status in style winning the 1100m sprint under Marvin Suerland. Coming off Gate 3, Suerland had the 4yo gelding follow Bustawi Ismail's Crikey. On the home stretch, Crikey weakened, and Founder took a slight advantage over Ahmed Al Jehani's CHINA CLUB (Shamardal x Twyla Tharp) on the rails. At the post, Founder, having edged forward, beat Tomas Lukasek ridden China Club by a little less than two lengths, while Mohammed Hamad Al Attiya's PALE ENCHANTMENT (Sir Prancealot x Bronze Queen) was third.


After coming close twice over a mile earlier this season, Yousef Bentaher schooled MONTASER (Domestic Fund x My Sweet Natalie) shed his maiden status in the six furlong run on Thursday. Gerald Avranche had the 5yo stay midfield even as Jean Baptiste Hamel had Stefano Ibido saddled Zurich Bu Thaila go into the lead early on. Coming off the final bend, Montaser and Hilal Kobeissi trained MUSAITER BU THAILA (Elusive City x Pomme D'Amour) picked up pace. Montaser's turn of foot was good enough to go past ZURICH BU THAILA (Lawman x Oh Smarty Girl) and then pull away while Saleem Golam gave a chase on Musaiter Bu Thaila, whic was good enough for a second.
