The Hamad Ahmed Al Malki Al Jehani-trained LAWLESS LOUIS (Equiano x Peace And Love) bounced back from two heavy defeats on turf with a thrilling win on dirt when the gelding topped the six-furlong THOROUGHBRED HANDICAP (Class 5) (75 & below) on Wednesday. The 5yo was the second winner on the day for jockey Jean Baptiste Hamel, who helmed Lawless Louis to a victory with three quarters of a length to spare.

However, with Ivan Rossi in the saddle of the colt for the first time, the 6yo raced to a dominant win in the 1700m race with four and a quarter lengths to spare at the post.
