FATEN (Anodin) opened her record on her second start in the Prix de Jolimont, a 2200-meter race for three-year-old maiden fillies at Toulouse on Sunday, 1 March. His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Khalifa Al Thani’s filly showed significant improvement in this race. Having broken well at the start, Francois Rohaut’s ward galloped behind SILVER FLYER (Tin Horse) before progressing to the second position, a length behind the leader RUMBERA (Sea The Moon). At the beginning of the home stretch, Faten easily took better of the pack. She won without real opposition and without the help of the whip with Valentin Seguy in the saddle.
FATEN had made her debut on all-weather surface at Pau, finishing sixth. She enjoyed the longer distance and the soft ground at Toulouse on Sunday.
