The 2-year-old ALJUMAYLIYAH impressed for her debut when she won Prix du Temple de Venus at Chantilly on Thursday, 12 December. In the colours of Khalid bin Rashid Al Mohannadi, the Henri Alex Pantall-trained bay filly cruised in second position in the early stages of the 1500-metre race for 2-year-old maidens. With Tristan Baron in the saddle, ALJUMAYLIYAH was clearly the strongest in the final stage and passed the post two lengths ahead of the Mikel Delzangles-trained and Vincent Cheminaud-ridden WOOTTON SAGA. The Carlos Laffon Parias-trained and Augustin Madamet-ridden PIONEER OF THE SKY was a further half-length behind in third.

Bred by Al Shaqab Racing, ALJUMAYLIYAH is the daughter of OLYMPIC GLORY out of ALDAYHA, a winner sister of GUINNEVRE, Listed winner and Group placed.
