The Abdulaziz Saleh Al Jaber-owned Habes (QA) (Harran ASF x Gidwa) continued his good run of form in the feature event of the seven-race card meeting conducted on dirt at Al Uqda Racecourse on Saturday, 30th December. The six-year-old gelding has not finished out of the first three places in all his six starts this term and scored in the seventh – his second victory this season - as he took the 1300m Graduation for four-year-old and older Local Purebred Arabians, Class 4, by three quarters of a length, landing the End Of Year Cup. In doing so, he wrapped up the 2023 racing action completing a quick-fire double for trainer Hadi Al Ramzani and jockey Jefferson Smith, who emerged victorious in the last two races of the day. The Al Jeryan Stud-owned and M.H.K Al Attiyah-trained AJS Haizum (QA) (AF AlBahar) finished second under jockey Szczepan Mazur and was a length and a quarter ahead of the third-placed, the Nasser Owaida Salem Al Hajri-owned and Owaida Salem Al Hajri-trained Munhamik (QA) (Mared Al Sahra), who was ridden by Abdulla Rashid Al-Hajri.
