Owned by Haras De La Morsangliere, C & Y Lerner, Ecurie Des Charmes and Patrick Madar, Look De Vega was only having the third start of his life career. Trained by Carlos & Yann Lerner, the talented colt is now a Gr.1 winner. Ridden by loyal partner Ronan Thomas, Look De Vega tracked the leaders through the early stages of the contest. Travelling well into the straight, Look De Vega was pulled out wide to challenge the leaders and draw clear in the final 200m to win by two lengths. First Look (Lope De Vega) stayed on well to finish second while Sosie (Sea The Stars) took third.

“It’s an extraordinary moment of my life”, said the sinning trainer after the race, “To get a horse like this at the end of my career. It’s wonderful. It’s formidable. Twenty-three years after Anabaa Blue, but this is something we’ve never seen. He’s perfect. He’s got a good mind. He’s a big athlete and look how chilled out he is, like it was a morning routine. He’s a champion.” Bred by Haras De La Morsangliere & Ecurie Des Charmes, Look De Vega is out of Lucelle (High Chaparral, who is a half-sister to Gr.2 winner The Black Princess (Iffraaj).
